Nestled between Muker and Gunnerside in the heart of Swaledale, a converted stone barn with accommodation for 27 guests in four bedrooms.
Open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, four bathrooms with five showers and six WCs in total, plus a utility/boot room and large outdoor patio space.
The perfect base for exploring the Dales on foot or by bike, and an ideal setting for large family gatherings, weekends away with friends, team-building retreats and group celebrations.
Surrounded by wide open spaces and beautiful countryside, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy the benefits of the outdoors.
Guests are welcome to make use of the outdoor firepit free of charge during their stay. Bags of farm logs and kindling are also available to purchase for cosy evenings outdoors.
A great location for parties and special occasions, with plenty of outdoor space for extras such as a hot tub or bouncy castle — we’re also happy to advise on local hire companies.
Excellent Wi-Fi is available throughout the Bunkbarn, making it easy to extend your stay if you need to work remotely.
We also offer access to our field adjoining the Bunkbarn, on the west side, which guests are welcome to use for games, outdoor activities, and exercise for themselves, children and dogs. Please note that dogs must be kept under control at all times, as livestock may be present in the field.
We are unable to permit electric vehicle charging from within the Bunkbarn. However, please contact us and we can provide access to an external charging point, which can be used for a small fee.

We welcome guests with dogs, but kindly ask that they are kept to a maximum of two.
